Pronoun preferences
Video recordings
Audio recordings (eg calls)
Records of meetings and discussions

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information. You can request other information such as details about where we get personal information from and who we share personal information with. Consent - we have permission from you after we gave you all the relevant information. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to object. To be clear, you do have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
Where we get personal information from
Directly from you
Third-party service providers
We use SimplyBook.me to manage appointment bookings. We also use Stripe to process online payments. These providers act as third-party data processors and process personal data on our behalf in order to complete bookings and payment transactions. The personal data involved may include your name, contact details appointment information and payment-related data. We do not store full payment card details; these are processed securely by Stripe in accordance with their own privacy and security obligations. How your data is stored
Your personal data is stored securely using third-party systems including SimplyBook.me (for bookings) and Stripe (for payments. These providers store data on secure servers and implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures such as encryption and access controls.
We may store client notes, including birth debrief notes, securely on password-protected devices and files. These devices and files are protected using encryption to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration.
Access to personal data is strictly limited to authorised personnel.
How long we keep information
Your information will be held for 7 years from your latest appointment with Held By Emma, to ensure information is available should future services be requested and to ensure I am working in line with professional insurance and legal requirements. Beyond this point any information will be securely deleted.
