Birth is a transformation.

Whether joyous or traumatic, birth transforms us all, both physically and emotionally, forever. There is no right or wrong way to feel about your birth, and likewise there is no right or wrong timeline for how or when your birth experience might affect you.

Since my own traumatic birth experience I have often wondered why it is that we are expected to process this life changing experience on our own, in the midst of postpartum life and the struggles and chaos that this brings, as we navigate matrescence and our own shifting identity.

This is why I created this space. A space that is dedicated to holding you as you navigate your birth experience and how it might be showing up for you in your day to day life.

    Birth Processing

A gentle 90-minute session where I will hold space for you to share your birth experience in a safe and supportive space. You will be heard, validated and invited, where it feels good, to be guided somatically so that your body can move through and process the parts of your story that still hold charge with the intention of helping you to leave a session feeling lighter and resourced.

    About me

It’s important you feel safe with the person who holds you in processing your birth story. This is where you can find out more about who I am, the reason why I have chosen to do this work and the training I have done to ensure the support I offer is nurturing and effective.

    Birth Preparation

A birth preparation session with me goes beyond the usual birth plan, combining a newly developed birth mapping technique with the guidance of somatic therapy, to gently reveal the stories you might be carrying with you into your birth, so that you can move through these and navigate your upcoming birth with confidence.
